Activate Google account on phone

A Google account gives you access to services such as Gmail, Google Play and Picasa on your phone. Follow these instructions to activate a Google account on your phone.
You need to set up your phone for internet to use this function. Click here for information on how to set up your phone for internet.

    Find "Google"
    • Press Apps.
    • Press Settings.
    • Press Accounts and sync.
    • Press Add account.
    • Press Google.

    Start activation
    • Press Existing.
    • To create a new account: Press New. Follow the instructions on the display to create a new account.

    Activate Google account
    • Press Email and key in the email address for your Google account.
    • Press Password and key in the password for your Google account.
    • Press Sign in.
    • Follow the instructions on the display to select settings for Google account.

    Choose backup settings
    • Follow the instructions on the display to select backup settings.
    • Press Next.

    Exit
    • Press the Home key to return to standby mode.
