Set up your tablet for text messaging

A text message is a message that can be sent to other tablets and mobile phones. You can send and receive text messages as soon as you've inserted your SIM. If this isn't the case, you can set up your tablet for text messaging manually.

    Find "Text messages"
    • Press Messages.
    • Press MORE.
    • Press Settings.
    • Press More settings.
    • Press Text messages.

    Save the message centre number
    • Press Message centre.
    • Key in +61418706700 and press SET.

    Return to the home screen
    • Press the Home key to return to the home screen.
