Use Google Maps

You can use Google Maps on your tablet. To use Google Maps, you need to set up your tablet for internet. Please note that the developer continuously updates the app which means that it may differ from these instructions.

Press Apps.
Press Google.
Press Maps.
Press the search field and key in the required search word.
Press the required destination.
Press the name of the destination at the bottom of the screen.
Press SAVE.
Press the required setting.
If you select NEW LIST, follow the instructions on the screen to create a new list.
Press DIRECTIONS.
Press the required mode of transportation.
Press the required route.
Press START.
The travel information at the bottom of the screen shows your travel time, estimated time of arrival and distance to destination.
Press the end icon to end navigation.
Press the Home key to return to the home screen.

    Find "Maps"
    • Press Apps.
    • Press Google.
    • Press Maps.

    Find destination
    • Press the search field and key in the required search word.
    • Press the required destination.
      Drag two fingers together or apart to zoom in or out.

    Save favourite destination
    • Press the name of the destination at the bottom of the screen.
    • Press SAVE.
    • Press the required setting.
    • If you select NEW LIST, follow the instructions on the screen to create a new list.

    Plan route to destination
    • Press DIRECTIONS.
    • Press the required mode of transportation.
    • Press the required route.

    Start GPS navigation
    • Press START.
    • The travel information at the bottom of the screen shows your travel time, estimated time of arrival and distance to destination.

    End GPS navigation
    • Press the end icon to end navigation.

    Return to the home screen
    • Press the Home key to return to the home screen.
