Back up phone memory

Before updating the phone software, it's recommended that you back up the phone memory to ensure that no data is lost. It can also be useful to back up the phone memory regularly to ensure that no data is lost in case of defects or crashes. Remember, you need to insert a memory card in your phone.

    Find "Back up"
    • Press the menu icon.
    • Press Tools.
    • Press Back up & restore.
    • Press Back up.

    Back up phone memory
    • Press the drop down list below "WHERE TO STORE DATA".
    • Press SD card.
    • Press the box next to the following data types until the data type is selected:
    • System apps data
    • Media files
    • Downloaded apps with data
    • Press Back up now.
    • Press Password.
    • Key in the required password and press OK.

    Return to the home screen
    • Press the home icon to return to the home screen.
