Make a video call (FaceTime)

You can make a video call to another device which supports FaceTime. The video call can be made using either the mobile network or a Wi-Fi network. Remember, you need to activate your Apple ID.

    Find "FaceTime"
    • Press Settings.
    • Press FaceTime.

    Turn on FaceTime
    • If you're asked to log on, log on with your Apple ID.
    • Press the indicator next to "FaceTime" until the function is turned on.
    • Press the Home key to return to the home screen.

    Make a video call
    • Press FaceTime.
    • Press Contacts.
    • Press the required contact.
    • Press FaceTime.
    • You need to be connected to a Wi-Fi network to make a video call using a Wi-Fi network. You need to activate data connections to make a video call using the mobile network.

    Select option
    • When you have an active video call, you can select the following options:
    • Mute or unmute the microphone, go to 4a.
    • Change camera, go to 4b.

    4a - Mute or unmute the microphone
    • Press the microphone icon to turn the function on or off.

    4b - Switch camera
    • Press the camera icon to switch between the front and the back camera.

    End the call
    • Press End to end the call.

    Return to the home screen
    • Press the Home key to return to the home screen.
