Use map functions in Maps

You can use the map functions in Maps to find a specific location on the map or to plan a route from one location to another. Remember, you need to set up your tablet for internet and turn on GPS.

    Find "Maps"
    • Press Maps.

    Use map functions in Maps
    • The following steps describe how you:
    • Find a destination
    • Use zoom
    • Turn 3D mode on or off
    • Save a favourite destination
    • Plan a route to a destination
    • Clear the map

    Find destination
    • Press Search or enter an address.
    • Key in the required destination and press Search.
    • The selected destination is displayed as a point on the map.

    Use zoom
    • Drag two fingers together or apart to zoom in or out.
  • 5
    Turn 3D mode on or off
    • Press 3D to turn 3D mode on or off.

    Save favourite destination
    • Press the field above the destination.
    • Press Add Bookmark.
    • Edit the name of the destination and press Save.

    Plan route to destination
    • Press Directions to Here.
    • Press the required mode of transportation.
    • Press Route.

    Clear map
    • Press Clear.

    Return to the home screen
    • Press the Home key to return to the home screen.
