Make a video call using FaceTime

You can make a video call to another device which supports FaceTime. The video call can be made using either the mobile network or a Wi-Fi network.

Press Settings.
Press FaceTime.
Press the indicator next to
Press Use your Apple ID for FaceTime and follow the instructions on the screen to log on.
Press the Home key to return to the home screen.
Press Extras.
Press Contacts.
Press the required contact.
Press FaceTime.
Press the camera icon to switch between the front and the back camera.
Press the microphone icon to turn the microphone on or off.
Press the end call icon.
Press the Home key to return to the home screen.

    Find "FaceTime"
    • Press Settings.
    • Press FaceTime.

    Turn on FaceTime
    • Press the indicator next to "FaceTime" to turn on the function.
    • Press Use your Apple ID for FaceTime and follow the instructions on the screen to log on.

    Return to the home screen
    • Press the Home key to return to the home screen.

    Make a video call
    • Press Extras.
    • Press Contacts.
    • Press the required contact.
    • Press FaceTime.
    • You need to establish a connection to a Wi-Fi network to make a video call using a Wi-Fi network. If you want to make a video call using the mobile network, you need to turn on mobile data.

    Switch camera
    • Press the camera icon to switch between the front and the back camera.

    Mute or unmute microphone
    • Press the microphone icon to turn the microphone on or off.

    End call
    • Press the end call icon.
    • Press the Home key to return to the home screen.
