Set up your phone for text messaging

A text message is a message that can be sent to other mobile phones. You can send and receive text messages as soon as you've inserted your SIM. If this isn't the case, you can set up your phone for text messaging manually.

    Find "Text messages"
    • Press the message icon.
    • Press the menu icon.
    • Press Settings.
    • Press Text messages.

    Select validity
    • Press Validity period.
    • Press Maximum.

    Save the message centre number
    • Press Service centre address.
    • Key in +61418706700 and press SAVE.

    Return to the home screen
    • Press the home icon to return to the home screen.
