How to write text

Text input is used in many of the phone functions, such as notes and messages.

Slide your finger downwards starting from the top of the screen.
Press the settings icon.
Press General.
Press Language & keyboard.
Press LG Keyboard.
Press Select languages.
Press the required language to add it.
Press the Return key.
Press Word suggestions to turn on the function.
Open a new note, message or email to bring up the keypad and your phone is ready for text input.
Press the language icon to select the required language.
Press the letter keys to write the required word.
The word suggestions are displayed as you write. Press the required word to insert it.
Press :)1#.
Press the required numbers and symbols.
Press arrow right to see more symbols.
Press abc to return to text input.
Press the Home key to return to the home screen.

    Find "Select languages"
    • Slide your finger downwards starting from the top of the screen.
    • Press the settings icon.
    • Press General.
    • Press Language & keyboard.
    • Press LG Keyboard.
    • Press Select languages.

    Add writing language
    • Press the required language to add it.
      The selected language determines which characters are available and the language used for word suggestion.
    • Press the Return key.

    To turn on word suggestion
    • Press Word suggestions to turn on the function.
      If you turn on word suggestion, words are suggested as you key in letters.

    Write text
    • Open a new note, message or email to bring up the keypad and your phone is ready for text input.

    • Press the language icon to select the required language.
    • Press the letter keys to write the required word.
    • The word suggestions are displayed as you write. Press the required word to insert it.

    • Press abc to return to text input.

    • Press the Home key to return to the home screen.
