Activate Microsoft account on phone

A Microsoft account gives you access to a number of services on your phone such as Hotmail, Marketplace and SkyDrive. Follow these instructions to activate your Microsoft account on your phone.
You need to set up your phone for internet to use this function. Click here for information on how to set up your phone for internet.

    Find "email+accounts"
    • Slide your finger left on the display.
    • Press Settings.
    • Press email+accounts.

    Create account
    • Press add an account.
    • Press Microsoft account.
    • Press next.
    • If you don't have a Microsoft account, you can create one at account.live.com
  • 3
    Enter email address
    • Press the field below Microsoft account and key in the email address for your Microsoft account.

    Enter password
    • Press the field below Password and key in the password for your Microsoft account.
  • 5
    Activate account
    • Press sign in.
    • Wait a moment while your Microsoft account is activated.
  • 6
    Exit
    • Press the Home key to return to standby mode.
