Turn Android Beam on or off

Android Beam is a wireless connection which can be used to transfer information to and from your device. You can transfer contacts, audio files or pictures and video clips from your device's gallery to other devices with the Android Beam functionality. Follow these instructions to turn Android Beam on or off.

    Find "Android Beam"
    • Press the menu icon.
    • Press Settings.
    • Press More....
    • Press Android Beam.

    Turn Android Beam on or off
    • Press the indicator next to Android Beam to turn the function on or off.
    • When the indicator turns blue, Android Beam is turned on.

    Exit
    • Press the home icon to return to standby mode.
