Back up phone memory

Before updating the phone software, it's recommended that you back up the phone memory to ensure that no data is lost. It can also be useful to back up the phone memory regularly to ensure that no data is lost in case of defects or crashes. Remember, you need to insert a memory card in your phone.

    Find "Backup & restore"
    • Press the menu icon.
    • Press Backup & restore.

    Back up phone memory
    • Press Manual backup.
    • Press the drop down list below "WHERE TO STORE FILES".
    • Press SD card.
    • Press the box next to the following data types until the data type is selected:
    • Contacts
    • Conversations
    • Calendar
    • Call log
    • Bookmarks
    • Press Continue.

    • Press the home icon to return to the home screen.
