Turn call barring on or off

You can block certain types of calls such as incoming calls when you're abroad.

    Find "Call Barring Settings"
    • Press the phone icon.
    • Press the Menu key.
    • Press Settings.
    • Press Call Barring Settings.

    Select barring type
    • The current settings will be displayed.
    • Press one of the following options:
    • All Outgoing
    • Outgoing International
    • Outgoing Roaming
    • All Incoming
    • Income when Roaming
    • If you select Outgoing Roaming, no international calls can be made, but you can still call home when you're abroad. If you select Income when Roaming, you can't receive incoming calls when you take your phone abroad. Incoming calls will be rejected by the network and the call won't go through.

    Turn call barring on or off
    • Key in your barring password and press OK.
    • Depending on the current setting, call barring is turned on or off.

    Return to the home screen
    • Press the Home key to return to the home screen.
