Select settings for voice control (Siri)

Using Siri you can control many of the tablet functions with your voice. You can call contacts from the address book, dictate messages and search the internet.

    Find "Siri"
    • Press Settings.
    • Press General.
    • Press Siri.

    Turn on voice control
    • Press the indicator next to "Siri" until the function is turned on.
    • Press Enable.

    Select option
    • The following steps describe how you:
    • Select language
    • Turn voice feedback on or off
    • Select tablet owner

    Select language
    • Press Language.
    • Press the required language.
    • Press Siri.

    Turn voice feedback on or off
    • Press Voice Feedback.
    • Press Handsfree Only or Always.
    • Press Siri.
    • You can select if your tablet should give voice feedback on your voice commands depending on if the headset is connected or not.

    Select tablet owner
    • Press My Info.
    • Press the required contact.
    • When you select yourself as the owner of the tablet, your tablet uses your information for different voice control functions such as navigation to your home address. Remember, you need to create yourself as a contact in the address book.

    Return to the home screen
    • Press the Home key to return to the home screen.
