Use Gmail

Gmail is a free email service provided by Google. You can send and receive Gmail messages using your phone's browser. Follow these instructions to use Gmail.
You need to set up your phone for internet to use this function. Click here for information on how to set up your phone for internet.

You also need a Gmail account. If you don't have an account, you can create one at www.gmail.com.

If you don't want to use Gmail using your phone's browser, you can set up your phone for Gmail using your phone's email client. Click here for information on how to the set up your phone for web-based email.

    Connect to Gmail
    • Slide your finger left across the display to open the main menu.
    • Press Browser.
    • Press the address bar.
    • Key in http://gmail.com and press Go.

    Log on
    • If it's the first time you use the application, you need to log on.

    Use Gmail
    • You can now use the application.
    • Please note that Gmail isn't part of the original application package and therefore only a general description is given here.
    • You have a number of options, such as:
    • Send email
    • Retrieve and read email
    • Reply to email
    • View list of contacts
    • Select application settings
    • Create a new Gmail account

    • Slide your finger up the display starting from the bottom edge of your phone to return to standby mode.
