1. Find "E-mail"

Press the menu icon.

1. Press the menu icon.
2. Press E-mail.
3. Press Microsoft Exchange.
4. Key in your email address.
5. Press Password and key in the password for your email account.
6. Press NEXT.
7. Press the field below "Server address" and key in the server address.
8. Press Domain and key in the domain name.
9. Press the field below "Port number" and key in the port number.
10. Press the field below "Username" and key in the username for your email account.
11. Press Use secure connection (SSL) to turn the function on or off.
12. Press Add and follow the instructions on the display to install the required certificate.
13. Press NEXT.
14. Press one of the following data types to turn synchronisation on or off:
15. E-mail
16. Contacts
17. Calendar
18. Tasks
19. Press Sync schedule.
20. Press Push, Manual or the required period.
21. Press Email sync period.
22. Press the required setting.
23. Press NEXT.
24. Key in a name for your email account.
25. Press DONE.
26. Press the home icon to return to the home screen.

3. Press Other.
4. Key in your Telstra email address.
5. Press Password and key in the password for your Telstra email account.
6. Press MANUAL SETUP.
7. Press IMAP4.
8. Press NEXT.
9. Key in imap.telstra.com
10. Press the drop down list below "Security type".
11. Press SSL (Accept all certificates).
12. Press the field below "Port number" and key in 993
13. Press the field below "Username" and key in the username for your Telstra email account.
14. Press NEXT.
15. Key in smtp.telstra.com
16. Press the drop down list below "Security type".
17. Press SSL (Accept all certificates).
18. Press the field below "Port number" and key in 465
19. Press the box next to "Require sign-in" to turn on the function.
20. Press the field below "Username" and key in the username for your Telstra email account.
21. Press the field below "Password" and key in the password for your Telstra email account.
22. Press NEXT.
23. Key in a name for your email account
24. Press the field below "Your name" and key in the required sender name.
25. Press DONE.
26. Press the menu icon.
27. Press Settings.
28. Press the name of the email account you've just set up.
29. Press Sync schedule.
30. Press Peak time sync.
31. Press Manual or the required period.
32. Press the required days below "Peak days".
33. Press the fields below "Peak time" and follow the instructions on the display to set the required times.
34. Press Off-peak time sync.
35. Press Manual or the required period.
36. Press SAVE.
37. Press the home icon to return to the home screen.

Solution: Contact your email provider for the correct settings for the incoming or outgoing server.

1. Find "E-mail"

Press the menu icon.

2. Press E-mail.
3. Slide your finger right starting from the left edge of the display.
4. Press Inbox below the required email account.
5. Press the new email icon.
6. Key in the first letters of the required contact.
7. Matching contacts are displayed.
8. Press the required contact.
9. Repeat the procedure to add more recipients.
10. Press Subject.
11. Key in a subject for the email.
12. Press the text input field.
13. Write the text for your email.
14. Press the attachment icon.
15. Press File.
16. Go to the required folder.
17. Press the required file.
18. Press the send icon when you've finished your email.
19. Press the home icon to return to the home screen.

22. Press the field below "Password" and key in your password for your email provider's outgoing server.
23. Press NEXT.
24. Key in a name for your email account.
25. Press the field below "Your name" and key in the required sender name.
26. Press DONE.
27. Press the menu icon.
28. Press Settings.
29. Press the name of the email account you've just set up.
30. Press Sync schedule.
31. Press Peak time sync.
32. Press Manual or the required period.
33. Press the required days below "Peak days".
34. Press the fields below "Peak time" and follow the instructions on the display to set the required times.
35. Press Off-peak time sync.
36. Press Manual or the required period.
37. Press SAVE.
38. Press the home icon to return to the home screen.
