Set up your phone for picture messaging

A picture message is a message which can contain pictures and other media files and can be sent to other mobile phones. You can send and receive picture messages as soon as you've inserted your SIM. If this isn't the case, you can set up your phone for picture messaging manually.

Slide two fingers downwards starting from the top of the screen.
Press the settings icon.
Press Dual SIM & Mobile Network.
Press the required SIM.
Press Access Point Name.
Press the add icon.
Press Name.
Key in Telstra MMS and press Save.

Press APN.
Key in telstra.mms and press Save.

Press MMSC.
Key in http://mmsc.telstra.com:8002 and press Save.

Press MMS Proxy.
Key in 10.1.1.180 and press Save.

Press MMS Port.
Key in 80 and press Save.

Press MCC.
Key in 505 and press Save.

Press MNC.
Key in 01 and press Save.

Press Authentication Type.
Press None.
Press APN Type.
Key in mms and press Save.

Press Save.
Press the Home key to return to the home screen.

    • Slide two fingers downwards starting from the top of the screen.
    • Press the settings icon.
    • Press Dual SIM & Mobile Network.
    • Press the required SIM.
    • Press Access Point Name.

    Create new data connection
    • Press the add icon.
    • Press Name.
    • Key in Telstra MMS and press Save.

    Enter APN
    • Press APN.
    • Key in telstra.mms and press Save.

    Enter MMSC
    • Press MMSC.
    • Key in http://mmsc.telstra.com:8002 and press Save.

    Enter IP address
    • Press MMS Proxy.
    • Key in 10.1.1.180 and press Save.

    Enter port number
    • Press MMS Port.
    • Key in 80 and press Save.

    Enter country code
    • Press MCC.
    • Key in 505 and press Save.
  • 8
    Enter network code
    • Press MNC.
    • Key in 01 and press Save.

    Select authentication type
    • Press Authentication Type.
    • Press None.
  • 10
    Enter APN type
    • Press APN Type.
    • Key in mms and press Save.

    Save data connection
    • Press Save.
  • 12
    Return to the home screen
    • Press the Home key to return to the home screen.
