Change PIN

The PIN protects your SIM from unauthorised use if your phone should get stolen. You can change your PIN to a PIN easier to remember of your choice. You need to turn on use of PIN before you can change your PIN.

Slide two fingers downwards starting from the top of the screen.
Press the settings icon.
Press Biometrics and security.
Press Other security settings.
Press Set up SIM card lock.
Press the required SIM.
Press Change SIM card PIN.
Key in your current PIN and press OK.
Key in a new four-digit PIN and press OK.
Key in the new PIN again and press OK.
Press the Home key to return to the home screen.

    • Press Set up SIM card lock.
    • Press the required SIM.
    • Press Change SIM card PIN.

    Change PIN
    • Key in your current PIN and press OK.
    • Key in a new four-digit PIN and press OK.
    • Key in the new PIN again and press OK.
      If an incorrect PIN is entered three times in a row, your SIM will be blocked. To unblock your SIM, you'll need to key in your PUK. The PUK can be obtained by contacting customer services. Please note: If you key in the wrong PUK ten times in a row, your SIM will be blocked permanently. In this case, you need a new SIM from Telstra.

    • Press the Home key to return to the home screen.
