If automatic mobile data usage is turned on, your phone will use mobile data when the connection to the Wi-Fi network is poor.

1. Find "Wi-Fi"

Slide two fingers downwards starting from the top of the screen.

2. Press the settings icon.
3. Press Connections.
4. Press Wi-Fi.
5. Press the indicator to turn on the function.
6. Press the menu icon.
7. Press Advanced.
8. Press the indicator next to "Switch to mobile data" to turn the function on or off.
9. Press the Home key to return to the home screen.

If notifications are turned on, your phone will use mobile data when applications send push notifications and is not connected to a Wi-Fi-network.

1. Find "Auto-update apps"

Slide your finger upwards on the screen.

1. Slide your finger upwards on the screen.
2. Press Play Store.
3. Slide your finger right starting from the left side of the screen.
4. Press Settings.
5. Press Auto-update apps.
6. To turn on automatic update of apps using mobile network, press Over any network.
   If you turn on automatic update of apps via mobile network, your apps are automatically updated via the mobile network when no Wi-Fi networks are within range.
7. To turn on automatic update of apps using Wi-Fi, press Over Wi-Fi only.
8. To turn off automatic update of apps, press Don't auto-update apps.
9. Press DONE.
10. Press the Home key to return to the home screen.
