Select settings for voice control

You can control many of the phone functions with your voice. You can call contacts from the address book, dictate messages and search the internet.

Press NEXT.
Press the required language.
Press CONFIRM.
Press SIGN IN.
If you don't have a Samsung account, press Create account and follow the instructions on the screen to create an account.
Press Email or phone number and key in the username for your Samsung account.
Press Password and key in the password for your Samsung account.
Press SIGN IN.
Press DONE and follow the instructions on the screen to select settings for your Samsung account.
Press NEXT.
Press the Bixby logo and follow the instructions on the screen to set up Bixby to recognise your voice.
Press START.
Press the Home key to return to the home screen.
Press FULL SCREEN.
Press the settings icon.
Press the required settings and follow the instructions on the screen to make the required changes.
Press the Home key to return to the home screen.

    Turn on Bixby
    • Press the Bixby key.
    • Press NEXT.
    • Press the required language.
    • Press CONFIRM.

    Log on to Samsung account
    • Press SIGN IN.
    • If you don't have a Samsung account, press Create account and follow the instructions on the screen to create an account.
    • Press Email or phone number and key in the username for your Samsung account.
    • Press Password and key in the password for your Samsung account.
    • Press SIGN IN.
    • Press DONE and follow the instructions on the screen to select settings for your Samsung account.

    Set up Bixby to recognise your voice
    • Press NEXT.
    • Press the Bixby logo and follow the instructions on the screen to set up Bixby to recognise your voice.
    • Press START.

    Return to the home screen
    • Press the Home key to return to the home screen.

    Select more Bixby settings
    • Press and hold the Bixby key.
    • Press FULL SCREEN.
    • Press the settings icon.
    • Press the required settings and follow the instructions on the screen to make the required changes.

    • Press the Home key to return to the home screen.
