1. Connect the charger to your phone

Open the cover on the left side of your phone.

1. Open the cover on the left side of your phone.
2. Connect the charger to the phone socket and to a wall socket.
3. When the battery charging icon is displayed, charging is in progress.
4. When the battery is fully charged, you can remove the charging cable from the wall socket and your phone.

1. Insert your SIM

Open the cover on the right side of your phone.

1. Open the cover on the right side of your phone.
2. Remove the SIM holder from your phone.
3. Turn your SIM so that the angled corner of your SIM matches the angled corner of the SIM holder.
4. Place your SIM in the SIM holder.
5. Slide the SIM holder into your phone.
6. Close the cover again.

1. Find "Screen lock"

Press the menu icon.

1. Press the menu icon.
2. Press Settings.
3. Press Security.
4. Press Screen lock.
5. Select one of the following options:
6. Create phone lock code using swipe, go to 2a.
7. Create phone lock code using face recognition, go to 2b.
8. Create phone lock code using a pattern, go to 2c.
9. Create phone lock code using a PIN, go to 2d.
10. Create phone lock code using a password, go to 2e.
11. Turn off use phone lock code, go to 2f.
12. Press Swipe.
13. Press Face Unlock.
14. Press Set it up.
15. Press Continue.
16. Hold your phone in front of your face and centre your face in the circle displayed.
17. Wait while your phone registers your face.
18. Press Continue.
19. Press Pattern or PIN.
20. If you select Pattern:
21. Press and drag a point to connect at least four points.
22. Press Continue.
23. Repeat the selected phone lock code to confirm.
24. Press Confirm.
25. Press OK.
26. Press the required question.
27. Press Continue.
28. Key in the required answer to the selected question.
29. Press Confirm.
30. If you select PIN:
31. Key in the required phone lock code and press Continue.
32. Key in the phone lock code again and press OK.
33. Press OK.
34. Press Pattern.
35. Press and drag a point to connect at least four points.
36. Press Continue.
37. Repeat the selected phone lock code to confirm.
38. Press Confirm.
39. Press OK.
40. Press the required question.
41. Press Continue.
42. Key in the required answer to the selected question.
43. Press Confirm.
44. Press PIN.
45. Key in the required phone lock code and press Continue.
46. Key in the phone lock code again and press OK.
47. Press Password.
48. Key in the required phone lock code and press Continue.
49. Key in the phone lock code again and press OK.
50. Key in the phone lock code.
51. Press None.
52. Press the home icon to return to standby mode.
