Back up contacts to your SIM and your phone

You can back up contacts to your SIM and your phone. This is useful if you change SIM or phone, as it saves you from keying in all the information again. Follow these instructions to back up your contacts to your SIM or your phone.

    Find "Contacts"
    • Press the menu icon.
    • Press Contacts.

    Select option
    • Select one of the following options:
    • Back up contacts to your phone, go to 2a.
    • Back up contacts to your SIM, go to 2b.

    2a - Back up contacts to your phone
    • Press the menu icon.
    • Press Import contacts.
    • Press SIM card.
    • Press Local contact.
    • Press Import all.
    • After a moment, the contacts are backed up.

    2b - Back up contacts to your SIM
    • Press the menu icon.
    • Press Export contacts.
    • Press SIM card.
    • Press Mark all.
    • Press Export.
    • Press Add contacts or Replace all contacts.
    • If you select Replace all contacts:
    • Press OK.
    • Please note that if you select Replace all contacts, all contacts on your SIM are deleted.

    Return to the home screen
    • Press the home icon to return to the home screen.
