Set up your phone for picture messaging
A picture message is a message which can contain pictures and other media files and can be sent to other mobile phones and email addresses. You can send and receive picture messages as soon as you've inserted your SIM. If this isn't the case, you can set up your phone for picture messaging manually.

1Find "Access Point Names"
- Slide your finger down the display starting from the top edge of your phone.
- Press Settings.
- Press More....
- Press Mobile networks.
- Press Access Point Names.

2Create new data connection
- Press the menu icon.
- Press New APN.

3Enter data connection name
- Press Name.
- Key in Telstra MMS and press OK.

4Enter APN
- Press APN.
- Key in telstra.mms and press OK.

5Enter picture messaging server
- Press MMSC.
- Key in http://mmsc.telstra.com:8002 and press OK.

6Enter IP address
- Press MMS proxy.
- Key in 10.1.1.180 and press OK.

7Enter port number
- Press MMS port.
- Key in 80 and press OK.

8Enter country code
- Press MCC.
- Key in 505 and press OK.

9Enter network code
- Press MNC.
- Key in 01 and press OK.

10Select authentication type
- Press Authentication type.
- Press None.

11Select APN type
- Press APN type.
- Key in mms and press OK.

12Select data bearer
- Press Bearer.
- Press Unspecified.

13Save data connection
- Press the menu icon.
- Press Save.

14Return to the home screen
- Press the home icon to return to the home screen.
