Before insert a memory card in your phone.
Press the menu icon.
Press Tools.
Press Back up & restore.
Press Back up.
Press the drop down list below "WHERE TO STORE DATA".
Press SD card.
Press the box next to the following data types until the data type is selected:
System apps data
Media files
Downloaded apps with data
Press Back up now.
Press Password.
Key in the required password and press OK.
Press the home icon to return to the home screen.
