Activate 5 GHz Wi-Fi

5 GHz Wi-Fi supports higher data speeds than 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, but has a shorter range. If your Wi-Fi signal has relatively unobstructed access from your router to the other connected device and, e.g., doesn't need to go through walls, it may be an advantage connecting to your router via 5 GHz Wi-Fi. Remember, you need to establish a connection to the router web interface.
