Several functions on the phone require an internet connection, e.g. when you use the internet browser, send email and install apps.

1. Find "Access point names"

Slide your finger downwards starting from the top right side of the screen.

2. Press the settings icon.
3. Press Network and Internet.
4. Press SIMs.
5. Press the name of your SIM.
6. Press Access point names.
7. Press the new data connection icon.
8. Press Name and key in Telstra Internet.
9. Press APN and key in telstra.wap.
10. Press the drop down list next to "APN type".
11. Press default to turn on the function.
12. Press arrow up.
13. Press the drop down list next to "Authentication type".
14. Press None.
15. Press Save.
16. Press the field next to the data connection to activate it.
17. Press the Home key to return to the home screen.

To use the phone's internet connection, mobile data needs to be turned on.

2. Press the network icon.
3. Press the indicator next to the mobile data icon to turn the function on or off.
4. Press Done.
5. Press the Home key to return to the home screen.

To use the phone's internet connection when abroad, data roaming needs to be turned on.

1. Find "SIMs"

Slide your finger downwards starting from the top right side of the screen.

2. Press the settings icon.
3. Press Network and Internet.
4. Press SIMs.
5. Press the name of your SIM.
6. Press the indicator next to "Roaming" to turn the function on or off.
7. If you turn on the function, press OK.
8. Press the Home key to return to the home screen.

If there's an error in the operating system on your phone, it may help restarting it.
