I can't send and receive email

Your tablet hasn't been correctly set up for Telstra Mail using IMAP
Your tablet hasn't been correctly set up for IMAP email
Your tablet hasn't been correctly set up for POP3 email
The email isn't written correctly

Write and send email

Press the email icon.
Press arrow left.
Press arrow left.
Press the required email account.
Press the new email icon.
Press To: and key in the first letters of the recipient's name.
Press the required contact.
Press Subject: and key in the required subject.
Press the text input field and write the text for your email.
Press and hold the text input field until a pop-up menu is displayed.
Press Insert Photo or Video and follow the instructions on the screen to attach a picture or a video clip.
Press Add Document and follow the instructions on the screen to attach a document.
Press the send icon when you've finished your email.
Slide your finger upwards starting from the bottom of the screen to return to the home screen.

    Open the inbox
    • Press the email icon.

    Select email account
    • Press arrow left.
    • Press arrow left.
    • Press the required email account.

    Create new email
    • Press the new email icon.

    Select recipient
    • Press To: and key in the first letters of the recipient's name.
    • Press the required contact.

    Enter subject
    • Press Subject: and key in the required subject.

    Write text
    • Press the text input field and write the text for your email.

    Attach file
    • Press and hold the text input field until a pop-up menu is displayed.
    • Press Insert Photo or Video and follow the instructions on the screen to attach a picture or a video clip.
    • Press Add Document and follow the instructions on the screen to attach a document.

    Send email
    • Press the send icon when you've finished your email.

    Return to the home screen
    • Slide your finger upwards starting from the bottom of the screen to return to the home screen.

It's important to find out if you can use your tablet's internet connection. If you can't use your tablet's internet connection, you need to solve this problem first. When the problem is solved, you will most likely also be able to send and receive email.
