Back up tablet memory using iTunes

You can back up the tablet memory to your computer using iTunes to ensure that no data is lost when you update your tablet's software or if you lose your tablet. Please note that the following steps are based on Windows OS which means the instructions do not correspond with other operating systems.

    Connect tablet and computer
    • Connect the data cable to the socket and to your computer's USB port.
    • Before you connect your tablet and computer, you need to install iTunes on your computer.

    Back up tablet memory
    • Click iTunes.
    • Click the iPad icon.
    • Click Back Up Now and wait while the tablet memory is backed up.
