I can't send and receive iMessages

There are problems activating iMessage
Time zone, date and time aren't correctly set on your phone

Set date and time

Press Settings.
Press General.
Press Date & Time.
Press the indicator next to
Slide your finger upwards starting from the bottom of the screen to return to the home screen.

    Find "Date & Time"
    • Press Settings.
    • Press General.
    • Press Date & Time.

    Turn on automatic update of time zone, time and date.
    • Press the indicator next to "Set Automatically" to turn on the function.

    Return to the home screen
    • Slide your finger upwards starting from the bottom of the screen to return to the home screen.
