If GPS position usage for applications is turned on, your phone will use mobile data when an application uses GPS to determine your position and is not connected to a Wi-Fi-network.

1. Find "Location Services"

Press Settings.

1. Press Settings.
2. Press Privacy.
3. Press Location Services.
4. Press the indicator next to "Location Services" to turn the function on or off.
   If you turn on this function, your phone can find your exact position using GPS. If you turn off the function, you can't use any GPS functions on your phone.
5. Press the required application.
6. Press the required setting to turn the function on or off.
7. Press Location Services.
8. Press the Home key to return to the home screen.

If automatic update of apps via mobile network is turned on, your phone will use mobile data.

1. Find "App and iTunes Stores"

Press Settings.

1. Press Settings.
2. Press App and iTunes Stores.
3. Press the indicator next to "Updates" to turn the function on or off.
   If you turn on automatic update, your apps are automatically updated via Wi-Fi.
4. Press the indicator next to "Use Mobile Data" to turn the function on or off.
   If you turn on automatic update of apps via mobile network, your apps are automatically updated via the mobile network when no Wi-Fi networks are within range.
5. Press the Home key to return to the home screen.

If Wi-Fi Assist is turned on, your phone will use mobile data when the connection to the Wi-Fi network is poor.

Solution: Turn Wi-Fi Assist on or off

If notifications are turned on, your phone will use mobile data when applications send push notifications and is not connected to a Wi-Fi-network.

1. Find "Notifications"

Press Settings.

1. Press Settings.
2. Press Notifications.
3. Press Sort Order.
4. Press Recent to sort push notifications by time.
5. Press Manual to sort push notifications manually.
6. To sort push notifications manually, press the organise icon next to the required menu item and drag it to the required position on the list.
7. Press Notifications.
8. Press the required application.
9. Press the indicator next to "Allow Notifications" to turn push notifications for the selected application on or off.
10. Press the indicator next to "Show in Notification Centre" to turn display of push notifications in Notification Centre on or off.
11. Press the indicator next to "Show on Lock Screen" to turn lock screen access on or off.
12. Press the required format below "ALERT STYLE WHEN UNLOCKED".
13. Press Notifications to save the settings.
14. Press the Home key to return to the home screen.
15. Slide your finger downwards starting from the top of the screen.
16. Press Notifications.
17. Press the required push notification and follow the instructions on the screen to use the selected function.
18. Press the Home key to return to the home screen.
