Select settings for voice control (Siri)

You can control many of the phone functions with your voice. You can call contacts from the address book, dictate messages and search the internet.

Find "Siri"
- Press Settings.
- Press General.
- Press Siri.

Turn on voice control
- Press the indicator next to "Siri" until the function is turned on.
- Press Enable Siri.

Select settings
- The following steps describe how you:
- Turn automatic activation when charging on or off
- Select language
- Select voice gender
- Turn voice feedback on or off
- Select phone owner
- Turn automatic activation on or off

Turn automatic activation when charging on or off
- Press the indicator next to "Allow "Hey Siri"" to turn the function on or off.
- If you turn on Allow "Hey Siri", you can activate voice control when your phone is charging by saying "Hey Siri".

Select language
- Press Language.
- Press the required language.
- Press Siri.

Select voice gender
- Press Voice Gender.
- Press Male or Female.
- Press Siri.

Turn voice feedback on or off
- Press Voice Feedback.
- Press Handsfree Only or Always.
- Press Siri.

Select phone owner
- Press My Info.
- Press the required contact.
- When you select yourself as the owner of the phone, your phone uses your information for different voice control functions such as navigation to your home address. Remember, you need to create yourself as a contact in the address book.

Return to the home screen
- Press the Home key to return to the home screen.
