Make a video call (FaceTime)

You can make a video call to another device which supports FaceTime. The video call can be made using either the mobile network or a Wi-Fi network.

    Find "FaceTime"
    • Press Settings.
    • Press FaceTime.

    Turn on FaceTime
    • Press the indicator next to "FaceTime" until the function is turned on.
    • If you've not yet logged on with your Apple ID:
    • Press Use your Apple ID for FaceTime.
    • Follow the instructions on the display to log on.
    • Press the Home key to return to the home screen.
    • Remember, you need to activate your Apple ID on your phone.

    Make a video call
    • Press Extras.
    • Press Contacts.
    • Press the required contact.
    • Press FaceTime.
    • If you want to make a video call using a Wi-Fi network, you need to be connected to a Wi-Fi network. If you want to make a video call using the mobile network, you need to turn on mobile data.

    Mute or unmute the microphone
    • Press the microphone icon to mute or unmute the microphone.

    Switch camera
    • Press the camera icon to switch between the front and the back camera.

    End call
    • Press the end call icon.

    Return to the home screen
    • Press the Home key to return to the home screen.
