If the battery on your Apple Watch doesn't have enough power, the software can't be updated.

1. Charge the battery

Connect the charger to a wall socket.

1. Connect the charger to a wall socket.
2. Place the back of your Apple Watch on the magnetic charger allowing it to click into place.
3. When the battery charging icon is displayed, the battery is charging.

If you can't update the software on your Apple Watch, it may help restarting it.

Press and hold the Digital Crown.

1. Press and hold the Digital Crown.
2. At the same time, press and hold the Side button until your Apple Watch is restarted.

To update the software on your Apple Watch, it needs to be done correctly.
