If pairing using QR code reader isn't working, you can't pair your Apple Watch and your phone automatically.

Solution: Select the option to manually pair your Apple Watch on the setup screen and follow the instructions on the screen to complete the pairing between your Apple Watch and your phone.

If the Wi-Fi connection is poor, you can't pair your Apple Watch with your phone.

Solution: Complete the pairing and setup of your Apple Watch in a place with good Wi-Fi connectivity and make sure that Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are turned on on your phone.

To pair your Apple Watch with your phone and activate it, it needs to be done correctly.

1. Connect your Apple Watch and your phone

Place your Apple Watch next to your phone.

Make sure Bluetooth is turned on on your phone.

2. On your phone: Press Continue and follow the instructions on your phone to place the watch face in the middle of your phone's camera viewfinder.
3. On your phone: When this screen is displayed, your Apple Watch is connected to your phone.
4. On your phone: Press Set Up for Myself.
   If you've backed up content previously, you can restore the content.
5. On your phone: Press Set Up as New Apple Watch.
6. On your phone: Press the required setting and select on which wrist you want to wear the watch.
7. On your phone: Press Continue.
8. On your phone: Press Agree.
9. On your phone: Press Enter Password.
10. On your phone: Key in the password for your Apple ID and press Sign In.
11. On your phone: Press the required setting.
12. On your phone: Follow the instructions on the screen to turn on use of phone lock code or press Don't Add Passcode.
13. On your phone: Press Don't Use Passcode.
14. On your phone: Follow the instructions on the screen to select the required settings and press Continue.
15. On your phone: Follow the instructions on the screen to select the required settings and press Continue.
16. On your phone: Press OK.
17. On your phone: Follow the instructions on the screen to select the required settings and press Continue.
18. On your phone: Follow the instructions on the screen to turn the function on or off and press Continue.
19. On your phone: Press Continue.
20. On your phone: Follow the instructions on the screen to set up mobile data on your Apple Watch or press Not Now.

21. On your phone: Press Continue.
22. On your phone: Follow the instructions on the screen to select the required setting and press Continue.
23. On your phone: Wait a moment while the activation of your Apple Watch is completed and press OK.

If you can't pair your Apple Watch with your phone, it may help restarting your Apple Watch and your phone.
