Change PIN

Your PIN protects your SIM from unauthorised use. If use of PIN is turned on, it needs to be keyed in when you turn on your phone. Follow these instructions to change your PIN.
You need to turn on use of PIN before you can change your PIN. Click here for information on how to turn on use of PIN.

    Find "Change PIN 1"
    • Slide your finger down the display starting from the top edge of your phone.
    • Press Settings.
    • Press Security and Privacy.
    • Press SIM Card.
    • Press Change PIN 1.

    • Press Enter current PIN 1 and key in your current PIN.
    • Press Enter new SIM PIN 1 and key in a new 4-digit PIN.
    • Press Confirm SIM PIN 1 and key in the new PIN again.
    • Press OK.
    • If an incorrect PIN is entered three times in a row, your SIM will be blocked. To unblock your SIM, you'll need to key in your PUK. The PUK can be obtained by contacting Customer Service.Please note:If the wrong PUK is entered ten times in a row, your SIM will be blocked permanently. In this case, you need a new SIM from Telstra.

    • Slide your finger up the display starting from the bottom edge of your phone to return to standby mode.
