Activate BlackBerry ID on your phone

A BlackBerry ID gives you access to a number services on your phone such as BlackBerry App World, BlackBerry Protect and BlackBerry Messenger. Follow these instructions to activate a BlackBerry ID on your phone.
You need to set up your phone for internet to use this function. Click here for information on how to set up your phone for internet.

    Find "BlackBerry ID"
    • Slide your finger down the display starting from the top edge of your phone.
    • Press Settings.
    • Press BlackBerry ID.

    Start activation
    • Press Sign In.
    • To create a new account: Press Create New. Follow the instructions on the display to create a new account.

    Enter email address
    • Press Email Address and key in the email address for your BlackBerry ID.

    Enter password
    • Press the field below Password and key in the password for your BlackBerry ID.

    Activate account
    • Press Submit.
    • Wait a moment while your BlackBerry ID is activated.

    Exit
    • Slide your finger up the display starting from the bottom edge of your phone to return to standby mode.
