Use Twitter

Twitter is a social network allowing you to write your own and read others' status updates in messages not exceeding 140 characters. The status updates are displayed in your profile and are received by people who follow you. You decide who you want to receive status updates from. Follow these instructions to use Twitter.
Before you can use Twitter, you need a Twitter profile. If you don't have a profile, you can create one at www.twitter.com.

You need to set up your phone for internet to use this function. Click here for information on how to set up your phone for internet.

If you don't want to use the Twitter application, you can use the phone's browser. Open the browser and connect to mobile.twitter.com.

    Find "Twitter"
    • Press the menu icon.
    • Press Twitter.

    Log on
    • If it's the first time you use the application, you need to log on.

    Use Twitter
    • Follow the steps below to use Twitter.
    • You can follow Telstra on Twitter.

    Write status update
    • Press the new status update icon.
    • Write the required text and press Tweet.

    Read your friends' status updates
    • Press Home.
    • You can find the status updates of your friends below their names.

    Read mentions
    • Press Connect.
  • 7
    Read private messages
    • Press Me.
    • Press the private messages icon.
    • Press the required message.

    Exit
    • Press the Home key to return to standby mode.
