Back up phone memory
Before updating the phone software, it's recommended that you back up the phone memory to ensure that no data is lost. It can also be useful to back up the phone memory regularly to ensure that no data is lost in case of defects or crashes.

1Install LG PC Suite
- Go to www.lg.com on your computer.
- Find the download section on the web page to download LC PC Suite.
- Download and install LG PC Suite.

2Connect phone and computer
- Connect the data cable to the socket and to your computer's USB port.

3Select USB connection setting
- Slide your finger down the display starting from the top edge of your phone.
- Press the USB icon.
- Press Media device (MTP) until the function is turned on.

4Back up phone memory
- Start the program LG PC Suite on your computer.
- Click Back up/Restore device.
- Click Start Backup.
- Click Start.
