Guide to phone keys and sockets
The list below shows you what the different keys and sockets on your phone are used for.

1On/Off
- Several functions are associated with On/Off:
- Press On/Off to turn your phone on or off.
- Press On/Off to turn on the screen lock.

2The Return key
- Several functions are associated with the Return key:
- Press the Return key to close an active menu item.
- Press and hold the Return key to view a list of active menu items and applications.

3The Home key
- Several functions are associated with the Home key:
- Press the Home key to return to the home screen.
- Press and hold the Home key to activate voice control.

4The Search key
- Press the Search key to search the Internet or the phone.

5The Volume key
- Several functions are associated with the Volume key:
- Press the upper or lower part of the Volume key to adjust the ring volume.
- Press the upper or lower part of the Volume key during a call to adjust the volume.
- Press the upper or lower part of the Volume key to silence the incoming call alert.

6Socket
- Connect the charging or data cable to the socket and to a wall socket or your computer's USB port.

7Headset socket
- Connect the headset to the headset socket.

8Camera lens at the back of your phone
- Point the camera lens at the back of your phone at the required object to take a picture or record a video clip.

9Camera lens at the front of your phone
- Point the camera lens at the front of your phone at the required object to take a picture or record a video clip.

10The Camera key
- Several functions are associated with the Camera key:
- Press the Camera key to turn on the camera.
- Press the Camera key to take a picture when the camera is turned on.
