Use your phone as a Wi-Fi hotspot

1Find "Personal Hotspot Settings"
- Slide two fingers downwards starting from the top of the screen.
- Press the settings icon.
- Press Other Wireless Connections.
- Press Personal Hotspot.
- Press Personal Hotspot Settings.

2Select Wi-Fi hotspot settings
- Press Name and key in the required name for the Wi-Fi hotspot.
- Press Security.

Press WPA2 PSK to password protect your Wi-Fi hotspot.
The password prevents others from accessing your Wi-Fi hotspot without your approval.
- Press Password and key in the required password.
- Press Save.

3Turn on Wi-Fi hotspot
- Press the indicator next to "Personal Hotspot" to turn on the function.

4Return to the home screen
- Press the Home key to return to the home screen.

5Establish connection to Wi-Fi hotspot from another device

Turn on Wi-Fi on the other device.
Find the list of available Wi-Fi networks and select your own Wi-Fi hotspot.
Key in the password for your Wi-Fi hotspot and establish the connection.
When the connection is established, you can access the internet from the other device.

Turn on Wi-Fi on the other device.
Can you use the phone's internet connection?
It's important to find out if you can use the phone's internet connection. If you can't use the phone's internet connection, you need to solve this problem first. When the problem is solved, you will most likely also be able to use your phone as a Wi-Fi hotspot.
