Set up your phone for Exchange email
You can set up your phone to send and receive email from your Exchange email account, such as your work email. Remember, you need to set up your phone for internet.
Select an alternative email configuration:
- Set up your phone for email
- Set up your phone for Telstra Mail

1Find "Email"
- Press the menu icon.
- Press Email.

2Enter email address
- Key in your email address.

If an email account has been created already, do the following instead:Press the name of your email account. Press the Menu key. Press Add account. Key in your email address.

3Enter password
- Press Password and key in your password.
- Press Next.

4Select account type
- Press Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync.

5Select setting for synchronisation during peak hours
- Press the drop down list below "Peak schedule".
- Press Push, Manual or the required interval.

6Select setting for synchronisation during off-peak hours
- Press the drop down list below "Off-peak schedule".
- Press Push, Manual or the required interval.

7Select period for synchronisation of email
- Press the drop down list below "Period to sync email".
- Press the required setting.

8Select email retrieval size when synchronising
- Press the drop down list below "Emails retrieval size".
- Press the required setting.

9Select synchronisation period for the calendar
- Press the drop down list below "Period to sync Calendar".
- Press the required setting.

10Turn email notification on or off
- Press Notify me when email arrives to turn the function on or off.

11Select data types for synchronisation
- Press one of the following data types to turn synchronisation on or off:
- Sync Contacts
- Sync Calendar
- Sync SMS
- Press Next.

12Enter email account name
- Key in a name for your email account

13Finish setup
- Press Done.

14Return to the home screen
- Press the Home key to return to the home screen.
