Select settings for voice control (S Voice).

Using S Voice you can control many of the phone functions with your voice. You can call contacts from the address book, dictate messages and search the internet. Follow these instructions to select settings for voice control.

    Find "S Voice"
    • Press Apps.
    • Press S Voice.

    Select option
    • Press the Menu key.
    • Press Settings.
    • Select one of the following options:
    • Select language, go to 2a.
    • Turn voice control on or off, go to 2b.
    • Turn use of GPS on or off, go to 2c.
    • Hide offensive words, go to 2d.
    • Use help function, go to 2e.

    2a - Select language
    • Press Language.
    • Press the required language.

    2b - Turn voice control on or off
    • Press Launch S Voice.
    • When the box next to the menu item is ticked (V), the function is turned on.

    2c - Turn use of GPS on or off
    • Press Use location data.
    • When the box next to the menu item is ticked (V), the function is turned on.

    2d - Hide offensive words
    • Press Hide offensive words.
    • When the box next to the menu item is ticked (V), the function is turned on.

    2e - Use help function
    • Press Help.
    • Follow the instructions on the display to use the help function.

    • Press the Home key to return to standby mode.
