Use map functions in Google Maps
You can use the map functions in Google Maps to find a specific location on a map or to plan a route from one location to another. You can use Google Maps using an application on your phone. Follow these instructions to use Google Maps.
You need to set up your phone for internet to use this function. Click here for information on how to set up your phone for internet.
GPS also needs to be turned on. Click here for information on how to turn on GPS.
If you don't want to use Google Maps using an application on your device, you can use your phone's browser: Open the browser and connect to http://maps.google.com.

1Find "Maps"
- Press the menu icon.
- Press Maps.

2Find destination
- Press the search icon.
- Key in the required destination.
- Results matching what you key in are displayed.
- Press the required destination.

You can also key in points of interest.

3Plan route
- The selected destination is displayed as a point on the map.
- The information field, containing name or address of the destination, is displayed above the destination.
- Press the information field above the destination.
- Press Directions.
- Press the required mode of transportation.
- Press GET DIRECTIONS.

4Use Google Maps
- Follow the steps below to use map functions in Google Maps.

5Save favourite destination
- Press the information field above the destination.
- Press the favourite icon (a star) at the top of the display.
- Press the return icon to return to map view.

6Use zoom
- Drag two fingers together or apart to zoom in or out.

7View current position
- Press the current position icon.

8Clear map
- Press the menu icon.
- Press Clear Map.

9Exit
- Press the home icon to return to standby mode.
