Turn your phone on and off

Before you can turn on your phone, you need to insert your SIM and battery into your phone.

Press and hold Disconnect until your phone is turned on.
If you're asked to key in your PIN, do so and press the Navigation key.
Press and hold Disconnect.

    Turn on your phone
    • Press and hold Disconnect until your phone is turned on.

    Enter your PIN
    • If you're asked to key in your PIN, do so and press the Navigation key.
      If the wrong PIN is entered three times in a row, your SIM is blocked. To unblock your SIM, you'll need to key in your PUK. The PUK can be obtained by contacting Customer Service. Please note: If an incorrect PUK is entered ten times in a row, your SIM is blocked permanently. In this case, you need a new SIM from Telstra.

    • Press and hold Disconnect.
