Change Wi-Fi hotspot name

Your USB modem comes with a default name which is used when you establish a connection to the internet using your USB modem's Wi-Fi hotspot. You can change this name. Remember, you need to establish a connection to the USB modem web interface.

    Find "WLAN Settings"
    • Click Settings.
    • Click Wireless.
    • Click WLAN Settings.

    Change Wi-Fi hotspot name
    • Click the field next to "Wi-Fi Name(SSID):" and key in the required name for your Wi-Fi hotspot.
    • Click Apply.
    • Click OK.
      Please note that the internet connection via the USB modem's Wi-Fi hotspot is ended and you need to establish a wireless internet connection again with the new settings.
