Set up your USB modem for internet

Usually, you can connect to the internet using your USB modem application as soon as it has been installed on your computer. If this isn't the case, you can set up your USB modem for internet manually. Remember, you need to establish a connection to the USB modem web interface.

    Find "Mobile Connection"
    • Click Settings.
    • Click Internet.
    • Click Mobile Connection.

    Create new data connection
    • Click New Profile.
    • Click the field next to "Carrier Name" and key in Telstra Internet.

    Select authentication type
    • Click the drop down list next to "Auth Mode".
    • Click None.

    Enter APN
    • Click the field next to "APN :" and key in telstra.internet.

    Select IP type
    • Click the drop down list next to "IP type".
    • Click the required setting.

    Save settings
    • Click Save.
