Turn the back of your USB modem towards you. Slide the back cover downwards and remove it.
Place your SIM as illustrated next to the SIM holder.
Please note that your USB modem only supports nano SIMs.
Slide your SIM into the SIM holder.
Place the back cover on your USB modem with ½ cm opening at the top and slide the back cover upwards.
On your computer: Click the menu field.
Click the Wi-Fi icon to turn off the function.
Connect your USB modem to your computer's USB port.
Open an internet browser on your computer and go to 192.168.1.1
Click username and key in the username for your USB modem.
You can see the default username and password for your USB modem on the inside of the cover.
Click password and key in the password for your USB modem.
If your SIM is protected by a PIN, click the field next to "PIN code:" and key in your PIN.
If the wrong PIN is entered three times in a row, your SIM is blocked. To unblock your SIM, you'll need to key in your PUK. The PUK can be obtained by contacting Customer Service. Please note: If an incorrect PUK is entered ten times in a row, your SIM is blocked permanently. In this case, you need a new SIM from Telstra.
If required, click the field next to "Disable PIN verification" to turn off use of PIN.
When the LED is blue or green, an internet connection is established and your USB modem is ready for use.
Click the field next to "Current Password:" and key in the default password for the USB modem web interface.
For security reasons, it's recommended that you create a new password instead of using the default password.
Click the field next to "New Password:" and key in the required password.
Click the field next to "Confirm Password:" and key in the new password again.
