The speed of the internet connection is lower than expected

If the speed of the internet connection is lower than expected, there may be several causes of the problem.

If you're downloading files using a peer-to-peer program, such as a BitTorrent client, you may experience low speeds.

Solution: Close the peer-to-peer program.

When using your USB modem abroad, you may expect lower download and upload speeds.

Solution: When you return to your home country, your download and upload speeds will increase.

If you've set your USB modem to use a low data speed network mode, the speed of the internet connection may be low.

Solution: Select network mode

Click Settings.

The network coverage may differ from area to area. In certain areas it may be so low that the speed of the internet connection is low.

Solution: Try again later when you're in an area with better network coverage.
