Your USB modem can't find a network

If your USB modem can't find a network, there may be several causes of the problem.

Your USB modem can't find a network if no SIM or a SIM from another operator has been inserted in your USB modem.

Solution: Insert SIM

Turn the back of your USB modem towards you. Slide the back cover downwards and remove it.

If you've set your USB modem to use a specific network, it can't get a network connection if the selected network is out of range.

Solution: Select network

Click Settings.

The network coverage may differ from area to area. In certain areas it may so low that it's not possible for your USB modem to get a network connection.

Solution: Try again later when you're in an area with better network coverage.

You can check if your SIM is faulty by inserting it in a phone.

Solution: Contact Customer Service to have a new SIM sent to you.

If your SIM has been blocked permanently, you'll need a new SIM.

Solution: Contact Customer Service to have a new SIM sent to you.

If you've keyed in your PIN incorrectly three times in a row, you're asked for the PUK.

Solution: Contact Customer Service to get the PUK.

If your PIN hasn't been keyed in, your USB modem can't find a network.

Solution: Establish connection to the internet

On your computer: Click the menu field.
