Change PIN

The PIN protects your SIM from unauthorised use. When use of PIN is turned on, you need to key in your PIN every time the USB modem application starts. Remember, you need to establish a connection to the USB modem web interface and turn on use of PIN.

    Find "PIN Management"
    • Click Settings.
    • Click Management.
    • Click PIN Management.

    Change PIN
    • Click the drop down list next to "PIN operation:".
    • Click Modify.
    • Click the field next to "PIN code:" and key in your current PIN.
      If the wrong PIN is entered three times in a row, your SIM is blocked. To unblock your SIM, you'll need to key in your PUK. The PUK can be obtained by contacting Customer Service. Please note: If an incorrect PUK is entered ten times in a row, your SIM is blocked permanently. In this case, you need a new SIM from Telstra.
    • Click the field next to "New PIN:" and key in a new PIN.
    • Click the field next to "Confirm PIN:" and key in the new PIN again.

    • Click Apply.
